I just read somewhere...that if I do not file by I140 by July 31 the i lose chance to file I485 by august 17..which i could file anyway together if I have to file it by July31..Is this true..

the reason being that I am waiting for the hard copy of Labor Approval and the only thing I have is Cover letter copy..I do not want to miss chance

My PD is Oct 2001

Please please let me know!!

Hi All,

Please help!!

I will be completing my first 3yrs of H1 in Sept 2010. My I-797 is valid till Sept 2010. I-94 & H1 visa expired on April 4th 2010.

My company has applied for 1-129 on April 1st 2010.

I have a few questions -

1. Since my 1-94 is expired and H1 too, am "I out of status"? - I-129 is still pending, I have received the receipt from USCIS on April 12, 2010.

2. If I am out of status, is it going to effect my visa renewal or H1 extensio?

3. What to do?

Your response will be highly appreciated, I am very confused.

As per my knowledge you do not need a transit visa for Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I traveled to India recently through Abu Dhabi and did not need one.

Change.org (http://www.change.org/ideas/browse) (pick Immigration in the browse by cause box on the right side of the screen) is now actively voting on various ideas.

There are 3 ideas there, but none for our cause.

I am no pro on these, but may be we could get an idea inserted for our cause and get enough votes on it.

I have a quick question about PERM requirements. I was told by my attorney that if I own my company�s stocks, I will be considered a part owner of the company and this will automatically trigger an audit.

My company is a private company and I was given some stock options with very few stocks that I have exercised. I will really appreciate your response.

Hi All,

This is forum for LC Sub cases. I'm on last phase of my L1B(5 years would complete on 2009) so my company a large corp evaluted my case as fit for LC Sub and applied I-140 on July 4th and 485 on July 27.

I have no status on my I-140/485 or 131 since got the Receipts. Got EAD.

Even after my FP the case also was not updated.

Question:
If you have filed your I-140 LC Sub are you seeing any progress on your file?

If yes, which date your I-140 was applied?

Was that standaline or Join filing with I-485?

Which Service center is handling your case?
