I am a July 07 filer. Recently I sent in EAD renewal application and got it approved within a month. When I saw my EAD card the Sex category on it was F instead of M. Now what are my option. Should I reapply for EAD or continue working on it. I changed my employer last month and am currently working on EAD.

My husband is having L1A visa through company X.
Howmany days/moths/years will it take for us to get GREENCARD if we apply in MAY2008.
I understood no LC is required for L1A visa holders Greencard processing.

Yours will be EB1C. You can expect to get GC in 1-2 years.

My middle name is given only initial on not full on 1-485 ,131 receipt but 765 has full name
can any one advise me on how to resolve it.
I am on H1 now and my H1 B approval also had my middle name as initial.
Why are you worried? Dropping middle name in North American naming conventions is common, but that should not matter.

EB3/EB2 categorization depends on a lot of other factors. But I understand your question is about base eligibility.
In general Masters requirement for a job is considered to be eligible for EB2.
Similarly Bachelors+5years exp req for a job is also considered to be eligible for EB2.
So your employers advertised job "could" very well be EB2 if all other conditions are met.

Yesterday I booked a visa appointment at the Mumbai consulate and no where on any of the forms did I specify that I was from Maharashtra but the appointment letter that comes out at the very end says in bold "State of Residence: Maharashtra" which is wrong.
I also canceled the appointment and re-booked it with the same outcome.
Has anybody had this happen to their case? Just trying to gauge how concerned should I get about this. Everything else on the forms looks correct but this one little thing.

We are going to demand TRANSPARENCY in addition to efficiency for BECs. Its a part of Immigration voice's agenda.
Is there ANY mechanism right now for applicants or their attorneys to find out what's going on with their PERM application? Is there a phone number you can call or an email address you can write to? It seems that at a minimum the processing centers should issue a monthly report on the progress and issues encountered.

Yes you would need a transit visa. In fact in Air India (not sure about other airlines) without transit visa you cannot even board the plane from US

$105,000 salary for 5 years exp with J2EE/Java sounds rights to me. People with 2/3 year experience are making around 80-85k.

Between 1994 and 2006, USCIS underutilized the visa numbers by approving less than the 140,000 employment based applications each year even though USCIS had more than enough applications pending. Due to the statutory calculation method (explained more fully by USCIS and DOS on their websites), USCIS�s failure to timely process a sufficient number of applications resulted in the loss of approximately 349,000 visa numbers that could not be used in future years since the law prevents usage in future years. In 2000, Congress authorized the use of 130,000 these �lost� visa numbers by what has come to be known as the �visa recapture� method. However, approximately 219,000 numbers have not been �recaptured�. The current worldwide pending cases in all employment based categories is approximately 340,000 applicants. A one‐time recapture of the 219,000 unused visa numbers could go a long way to eliminating this backlog and bringing much needed relief to many applicants who currently face the prospect of becoming residents of the United States after they retire.

Call USCIS and verify your address. Have you moved receently - sometimes your AR11 change of address may not have been recorded on your case.
I am sure, you will get it anytime.
BTW - CONGRATULATIONS
I changed my address last month and they sent the 485 approval notice to the new address, so I think they've got the correct address. Just wondering why it was taking a while...
