It's a good guess. I was a happy NNW user, but despite having paid for the software, I still switched to Google Reader about a year ago. I tried out the new version of NNW, but there are really no features compelling enough to get me to switch back. Now if they come out with native iPhone version I might change my mind (I'm still not thrilled with Reader's Phone interface).
Exactly my thoughts... they can win me back if they develop a native iPhone client that works the way I'd like it to. Until then, I'll stick with Google Reader (which I switched to from NNW shortly after the iPhone's release).

It looks like MJ and Mr. M gave you some great tips.
MJ was correct, I was thinking the airport side of things. But it now looks like the PB side of things.
Agree with the others, get it to Apple to be fixed. That way you'll be sure the problem is corrected.

Oh, and after you get your PB fixed, you may still have problems connecting to your Airport. In that case delete the preference file first. If that doesn't work, then I would reset the Airport and then use the Airport Setup utility to set up the Airport. Just be sure that you have your ISP data handy before you do this.
Please let us know how it work out.

That system seems more powerful than a new Ibook 12". yes the ibook has a little faster processor, but this imac has 80GB,SD, 768mb ram, Plus a 17" LCD, even if It can't exactly be used with anything else. But then because its not new and shiny depreciation sets in. If I had the cash I'd be willing to pay $800-850 depending on what (demo only, of course) software may be left on there.

You either loved or hated the puck. If it was clean, it felt great to use. I still have them and use one on the blueberry iMac I have in the garage. I personally liked it a lot.

Hey I'm looking into buying a preferably new Macbook or Macbook Pro. I need one soon as I'm moving out for my freshman year of college. The things I'm mainly concerned about is 500+GB, 4GB RAM, and 2.4+Ghz. I was wondering what might be some good places to begin looking for the right laptop.

Right, I have been wondering of getting lenscoats for my lenses (at least the ones that I can get them for), not for camouflage but for actual protection. I have seen them in action and sometime the lenses just take a hit or two and that neoprene neatly takes the hit. They make them in black which is what suits me best. BUT the question is does anyone else use them? Are there alternatives since they are pretty pricey and from the looks not quite 100% fitting.
Someone also suggested camo form tape which also absorbs the hits, albeit less so, but is a helluva lot cheaper.

My question may be stupid.
If I use iMovie3 (3.0.3) and iMovieHD 5 (5.0.2), will there be a quality difference in the raw unedited DV-material of film 1 and film 2?
The source material is analogue.Wow! Just wow. First, your movie editor cannot change your source footage. Second, DV is Digital Video. If you have analog video, then it impossible for it to be DV.

Yea sent it in as bug ... may not be isolated to 10.7, as other threads have come up in the past month since iOS 4.3.1 and iTunes 10.2.1

I did a quick search last night and could not find much relating to 10.7 and iTunes like you described, but until it gets fixed I guess to sync the phone you will have to use 10.6.

i am in phila and would have gone to KofP....sadly i am unable to go due to an already planned event im going to....but for all in the phila area planning on going...i would pay someone to pick me up one of those free t-shirts they are going to give out (size L:) )....so let me know

They just got all spanking brand new computer equipment at the school where my wife works, and the various departments were supplied with multifunction units.
Guess, what? It sure didn't take too long for them to break down and/or malfunction. They never bothered repairing them, they just exchanged them for separates.
As incredibly vague as that is, it doesn't help anyone. I'm guessing that those were probably Lexmark (or Dell, which are the same thing) units as my parents' Lexmark all-in-one broke after about a year while my Epson CX5200 is still going strong for them and my CX6400 is not quite a year old but working well.
However, had Canon had all-in-ones available at the time I got the CX6400, as they do now, I would have gone for a Canon model instead.

I was referring to bootcamp itself, not the machine.
Since the problem only appears on the new hardware, I'm not sure I'd place the blame on Boot Camp.
Now if only they'd fix the external display problem (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=906779).
