You are looking at a old document. The I-94 copies were asked back in 2008 to identify that you are in fact at or beyond 6th year on H1. Now all you need is the latest I-94 and form I-907 along with I-140 original labor certificate to do premium processing.
Now there are no restriction, any one eligible to file I-140 can do premium.

If you spend more than 1 year and if you do not have approved I140 then you will be subject to H1b quota. I am not sure about it but I heard about this

My H1B Visa expires in Aug 2009 (it was after first extension, till date i have already consumed 3 years 6 months in US). I have following questions,
1. After filing the extension next month, Can I leave to India immediately after getting the receiept (before approval). I might plan to come back to US after a year or so! I will be working at offshore for the same company.
2. If i leave a gap of 365 days, would i regain full 6 years after my re-entry in USA with the existing Visa itself?
I am very sorry if this is a repeated question, i did spend ample time investigating this query and then decided to post this in a thread.

the blue boxes are containers which contains images/ video thumbnails etc.
by clicking the controls the boxes should move too and fro.

What happens when old I-140 is cancelled by prior sponsor. Should the beneficiary still be eligibile to port his/her priority date based on the old approved I-140 (which is now cancelled ) ?
Still the PD is yours to keep. The only time I-140 will get invalidated even for PD porting is when USCIS found fraud in that filing.

I think those bills will only be related to toughening border security n patrol..

But if we have a coordinated campaign to target the senators with letters/web faxes...who know we might be able to get some interim relief as part of the border security bills.
We should atleast try to recapture the visa's lost since 2000.
I for one am sending letters to both my senators. I read in one of the posts that sending letters via snail mail is ideal, along with basic info about your I140.
There is an excellent template of such letter in one of the media campaign thread.

One way would be to iterate over all of the MultiScaleSubImages during load and store their ViewportOrigins and ViewportWidths. If I have time, I will try to see if I can create an example of it :)

This bills is to renew Conrad 30 program which is set to expire June 2008. This bill is sponsored by Zoe Lofgren and has been posponed until the undetermined date!
This is a vital provision for J1 physicians for waiver opportunities but I have not found much on this on the internet besides above quote from Oh law firm.

It seems people who applied for AP in TSC are getting their APs faster, compared to those who applied at NSC.

My Perm LC is applied in DEC 2007, GOT AUDIT RFE last week.
I am really worried about RFE. My Employer advised me we need reply them quickly in 1 week so that they feel we are serious.
Mine is BE+5years, applied under EB2 CATEGORY. I have 9+years of experience.
My employer advised me create a document which explains the Job Duties and responsibilites etc project by project.
and documnets including resume, experience letters, etc.
Can any body explain me what exactly uscis is expecting from me , what kind documents/avidence they are expecting in RFE ?
RFE Reason says:
Please provide documents such as position descriptions, the percentage of time spent on the various duties, organizational charts, and payroll records demonstarting that the qualifying experience gained by the alien while working for the employer, including as a contract employee, was ina position not substantially, i.e., not requiring performance of the same job duties more than 50 percent of the time to the position for which certification is being sought, and/or documents demonstarting that it is no longer feasible to train a worker to qualify for the position.

This is same rule in MN too. My wife extend her H4 with dirver license. You need to get her H1b approval first and then renew her license with new H1b Expiration Date. Hope this will help.

The troops have not been involved directly in intercepting border crossers.
In addition to the soldiers, the White House said it would request $500 million in supplemental funds to pay for more federal agents, prosecutors, investigators and technology at the border.

Few SSA offices do allow to submit application for SSN few days before 10/01. But few of them donot allow and suggests to come on or after 10/01.
So just give a try. But request them if they were able to find your information in the system. Few offices, though they donot find in the system, they take the application but few of them say that they could not find the information in the system and will suggest to come back again.

IMHO, If you have a valid H1b visa, then you need to be gainfully employed to keep the visa valid and that would mean you continue to get paid. If not, then that that is a problem. Joining the 2nd company on EAD is not a problem. Coming back to the 1st company on EAD is not a problem either. If you want to keep your H!b alive/valid, then I would suggest that you port/transfer your H1b visa to the 2nd company and when you are done with him, transfer h1b back to 1st company.
Seems like a lot of trouble to keep the h1b visa valid, but then again, that is one of the options.

The first step in the waiver process is for the foreign national to attend an immigrant visa consular interview in their home country. Once the consular officer deems the foreign national is inadmissible and a waiver is available, the foreign national will then file the waiver (form I-601, with the applicable filing fee) and establish there is extreme hardship to the U.S. citizen or LPR spouse or parent if the foreign national were not allowed to return to the United States. The waiver request is discretionary and extreme hardship is only one factor the officer will consider.

Hello all,
My EAD expired in late April
Prior to that, I applied for renewal but my old lawyer forgot to either include something with the application or made a typo, and it bounced back a few days ago (late May).
I got a new laywer to re-file the EAD, however I will not get my new one in time to start my post-college job in early July, as the process takes around 90 days from what I remember.
If I show up to the first day with a filing receipt, a written letter from the new lawyer explaining what happened, and my old EAD, will I not get the job?
How do employers handle something like this?
