What is I140 tracking number? How to get it?(I don't have any info about my i140 - only that it was approved and I have h1 extension petition of 3 yrs based on that.)

If you are talking abt any amount useful to use in USA, you need RBI clearance to wire it here.
Wiring is the cheapest I believe.
You will also need a clearance from IT dept in india.
RBI may ask for a reason for taking money out, which you should be able to justify.

Even if its multiplied by 100 we should be ok, if the USCIS does a good of not waisting visas by doing their best in the month of Sep. Say we have 6500 * 2 .25 (Family) = 15000people waiting from EB2 2004. Looking at the spillover numbers from last year, we might be lucky enough. Just trying to be optimistic for the next 35 days.
We received our 2nd biometric appointment notice for Sep 11th. Our Notice date is Sep 19th 2007. Just keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for something good. :)

EB3 ROW PD is back to 2002, as mentioned in this thread, however this case (like my own) highlights that you don't have to have PD current at time of GC approval. What makes this extra surprising is that this is a JULY filer (I was June).
It goes to show that Name Check can happen speedily (and refer to other postings for recent updates on this front)

Of the hundreds of thousands of July 07 filers, who paid a mere $325 for their I-485 application, do you think USCIS will devote the time/effort to constantly keep track of the applicant's eligibility of 485 over the next several years???? It will take atleast 4-5 years for several of us to finally get a visa number. Several of us will move/have address changes during these years.
It took them 2.5 years to process these...imagine the nightmare if they were to try doing subsequent rounds....
Keep in mind that 485 eligibility is not just tied to employment but also FBI name checks etc. Do you think USCIS will keep on doing name-checks every other year, or issue EVL's every other year if/when they see for instance, an address change?
Dude...USCIS is already on its way of bragging to the congress that it has pre-adjudicated all these 485 applications. I think if they touch these pre-adjudicated applications, then someone has to answer to someone of what is going on...why haven't you still worked on this? why are you devoting your time to these old 485 applications when there are new ones yet to be processed.

USCIS just seems to be changing rules according to their whims and fancies. They are changing rules according to their convenience. What do these idiots think of themselves? One cannot plan on anything when we are dealing with USCIS. What's good today may not be good tomorrow. Why do we even have to ask about Jul 2nd acceptance. I feel if you ask them they deliberately try to misguide you. Isnt the day Jul 2 a part of July month?? Since the previous July bulletin has be reinstated, in fact people who filed on Jul 2 should be at the top of the list in terms of getting receipt notices etc...

I would love to get involved with bunch of like minded people.....I have all the experience needed for starting and running a company. As per 2006 and 2007 CIR, only illegal immigrants get green card easy. Legals like us - it will become even more difficult. read the text of previous CIRs and new CIR will not be different. Below is the text, it clearly excludes legals from legalization. Hope I would have been daring enough to be illegal. Definately, illegals are the vote banks and they get all the attention.

Ronhia, I appreciate your comments. It needs conviction, dedication and consistent efforts to make such accomplishments. Moreover it also demonstrates the character of a person, who can motivate and inspire other kids in a positive way.. especially in an environment full of negative distractions.
If spelling bee competition is considered merely as just cramming the dictionary, as you rightly said we need to really spend some time looking beyond your own shell.
When you open a magazine, for sure, you tend to come across pages that may not be of interest to you. We skip the page and move on rather whining with words (yucky, stupid, senseless) that are inappropriate.
"Winning a national competition is not so great"... again it depends on what is so great to you !!!..
